Question 7; Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

I think I have learnt a few skills, mentioned in my previous question HERE.
I have also learnt more about the film industry and how films are produced, distributed and presented. Finally I have learnt more about Film Noir as a genre.

Question 6; What have you learnt about technologies from the process of the constructing of this product?

I have learnt how to edit on final cut, how to blog properly, the different ways to present information online, and the many ways that sound can be recorded and overlayed onto a film.

Question 5; How did you attract your audience?

I havent really thought of a way to attract an audience as I did not finish the film

Question 4; Who would be the audience for your media product?

This was answered in my previous question HERE

Question 3; What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

If this was a finished product than I think that a more independent company would distribute this as this genre of film is more suited to a particular audience. I think that a company like warp films would distribute this.

Question 2; How does your media product represent particular social groups?

As this was not a finished production I did not get a chance to include the representation in the final part of the film. Therefore there are no representations in this production.

Question One; In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My media film challenges the conventions of film noir by using a more modernised setting, eg in the film there are modern cars and the attire of the model is more modern from the clothing and the make-up.

However I could not finish my film as I only had 2 months to come up with a new idea, plan, research, film, blog and edit. And therefore I could not finish my final film as this was too much pressure as I also have 2 A2 subjects to do, and I have been under a lot of stress due to situations outside of sixth form. There has also never been a good time to film anything but I did try the best that I could. I would say personally that the planning/idea section of my blog would be the better part as this was something that I felt passionate about and wanted to complete.
